EA has brought out its next entry into the Nascar franchise with Nascar 09. Coming out for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 2 the game features “highly adaptable gameplay that fits players of all levels” which should make it an outright button mashing easy handicap for novices, while still giving more experienced gamers the tighter controls required for the more difficult settings.

I could just see the commercial now:”Have you ever wanted to be a “Dishwashing Champion”? Well now, on the Wii, you have a chance! Brought to you by the same gamers that made “Big Mama’s Laundry Challenge” and “Daddy Lawn Care” comes Dishwashing Champion, out for the Wii on July 26, 2008.” Hahaha….

There’s no doubt, these guys have hit the parody marker right on the money and have suffered from too many lame Wii games. It’s too bad that Nintendo’s quality control doesn’t help put an end to the endless land of quality crap that comes in to the Wii’s library, but hey, then again, we wouldn’t be living in a democracy now would we.

Oh well, at least we can all laugh at ourselves when washing the dishes next time.

It’s too bad that games always get a bad wrap. But did you know that the games industry was under attack by the media on a constant basis?This video compilation just goes to show that for a lot of today’s media, there’s a bias in the air of indicating that games are bad for you. Whether it be the controversy on how violent a game is, to just blatant lies on using Halo as a training ground for sniping (lol) I really can’t see how people can take these guys seriously. Which is why all in all, the videos above make for a great laugh.

Swing’in death-matches?  Capture the Flag?  The Swinger’s Club?  It may sound like a bad joke… but this is for REAL folks.  Apparently this isn’t your father’s Bionic Commando.    This is the new and improved Bionic Commando.  (But don’t mix it up with ReArmed)

Whoa check out Capcom taking a different approach on the whole SFIV trailer! Incorporating the song “Epic” from Faith No More is a pretty interesting concept. While I don’t think it exactly matches the mood and or the fight sequences… its definitely a fun way to hype of the new trailer.
